About
Dr. Raymond Esparza
Dr. Raymond Esparza was born and raised in San Antonio, where his deep connection to the community continues to guide his work today. After graduating from John Jay High School, he earned his bachelor’s degree from St. Mary’s University before going on to receive his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016.
Following graduation, Dr. Esparza moved to New York City, where he provided care in both general practice and at Animal Care Centers of NYC. There, he developed a strong commitment to serving pets and families from all walks of life, often supporting animals in vulnerable and transitional situations.
In 2020, Dr. Esparza returned home to San Antonio to be closer to his family. His passion for compassionate, accessible care led him to found Protect Your Pet, a mobile clinic focused on preventive and community-based veterinary services.
Dr. Esparza is deeply committed to helping pets live comfortably and to supporting families through difficult moments with empathy, respect, and understanding. He believes every pet deserves a peaceful, dignified experience, surrounded by the people who love them most.
